This is our last Sunday here in Vegas.
It feels bittersweet, and surreal to think that next week, Hugo, the girls and I will be in Santa Barbara, probably enjoying a bit of the beach. Wow. And, we won't be worrying about what time we'll have to drive back, to Vegas!
Man. This is so bittersweet.
I've already gone through this.
Moving to another state, saying good bye to wonderful friends.
I don't think I can hack this, yet again.
First time was tough. But, I brought my very bestfriends with me...this time...not so much.
This time, we're not going to another state to buy a home. Make the American dream come true. This time, we are going back, to where we came from. To start from scratch. To be happy.
But our friends will be staying behind.
That makes me sad.
But, my happiness, my husbands' happiness matters most. I know we'll always keep in touch with our friends, and the drive from Vegas to SB is just about 5 hours long. Not too shabby! I am sure we are worth the drive, or flight there :)
I have to keep packing. And keep looking for a place. It is already so stressful.
Can this week please hurry on up, so I can be back home, now?
